We believe in sustainability. We believe that sustainability is essential to the longevity of our farm. We envision ourselves farming this land for at least the next fifty years. In order to fulfill that vision, our farm has to be environmentally, socially, and financially sustainable -- improving the condition of our land, our community, and our finances -- in order to thrive.
We believe in diversity. We believe that diversity is the key to success on a small family dairy. Through promoting a whole farm system, we are able to optimize the use of our land while enhancing the ecosystem and viewshed.
We believe in community. We believe that without a community with which to share our bounty, our harvest would be meaningless. Through connecting others to the quiet joys and secret sadness of farming, we are able to more fully engage with the world.
We believe in our livestock. We believe that our livestock are the foundation upon which our farm relies. It is only through treating our animals with dignity and tending to their needs that we will see success as farmers.
