In an effort to not waste any part of the animals raised here on the farm a ground pet food product was developed along with some very natural and preservative free dehydrated chews. All animals that were slaughtered passed inspection and the meat is considered safe for human consumption, however; due to the age of the animal the taste and texture may not be what many are used to when consuming our lamb and pork. Therefore, the meat was ground with organ meats i.e., liver, kidney, heart and tongue with the intent of making a nutritious mix for our 4 legged meat eating friends. This can be thawed and fed fresh or you can cook it for your pet whichever is your preference.
For those feeding their animals a complete raw diet plese note the meat to organ ratio is no more than 10% organs to muscle meat and bone meal is not added at this time.
